Assistant editor, audio-video creation studio (St. Louis)

90°W, a leading motion media creation studio in St. Louis, is looking for an assistant editor.

This position requires a bit of everything to assist our senior editors in all of the tasks necessary to bring audio and visual files into our system, organize them, get them out the door and then archive and catalog them for future retrieval. It also includes handling direct client requests for revisions, updates & versions to pieces that we have produced.

Our work environment is creative, collaborative, hectic and demanding. We strive for excellence in everything we do. This is a critical position in our organization, because the Assistant Editor is often the last person to touch our product before it goes out the door to our clients. Extraordinary attention to detail is critical. This position requires a high degree of intelligence and an ability to handle pressure under deadline.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are mandatory.

  • Great computer skills with the ability & desire to learn new things quickly.
  • Desire to be part of a team. We are a small, close, group.
  • At least two years experience with Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere.
  • A working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
  • College degree in media production preferred.

In addition to the requirements, the following skills or interests may be beneficial:

  • Production technology – cameras, DIT, workflow, etc. Ingest efficiencies for Alexa, RED. Keep 90-owned production equipment organized and maintained. Oversee check out, check in of production equipment.
  • Collaborate with creative team to grow 90’s expertise with VR, AR, 360 content and other emerging technologies
  • Maintain company’s wordpress website
  • Contribute to social media and blog posting
  • Monitor and maintain our IT systems – more than 14 workstations – connected to central server

Compensation: competitive salary, plus health and retirement benefits. Schedule: 8-hour workdays, Monday – Friday, may be scheduled to begin at 9am, 10am or 11am, depending on client needs. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet work demands is essential.

90°W is a media production facility that creates TV commercials and high-end corporate video communications. Our clients are primarily advertising agencies. We are located in the vibrant Lafayette Square neighborhood in St. Louis. We currently have 17 people on our collaborative team.

Copywriter for Bass Pro Shops (Springfield, MO)

The White River Marine Group (WRMG) Senior Copywriter is a critical part of the award-winning WRMG Creative Team – providing key creative leadership and supervision. This individual will work closely with art directors, designers, other writers and the marketing team to craft compelling marketing materials for Ranger fiberglass and aluminum boats. The Senior Copywriter must not only be creative, but also very detail-oriented, driven and organized, as they will often be responsible for proofreading and writing a wide range of materials containing highly technical information. As a senior-level member of the creative team, the Senior Copywriter should also possess leadership skills and be able to assist with supervising the team. Data analyst (Two Rivers Marketing)

Two Rivers Marketing is looking for a marketing data analyst to join our growing team. This individual will work across the agency teams to help collect, manage and analyze various marketing data sets, such as website analytics, email campaigns, CRM data, social media platforms, online advertising and other sources. The person will also help with performance reporting on activities that have already occurred as well as identify opportunities and criteria for future marketing success with clients and the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop dashboards and reports for clients’ website, email marketing, social media, and digital media.
  • Work with Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Insights, email marketing reports and other sources to report relevant data
  • Help client teams identify opportunities and optimize digital marketing efforts based on data analysis
  • Identify trends in client data and offer recommendations for action

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field (math, economics, engineering or related)
  • 5+ years working with data and analytics/BI tools
  • Understanding of client reporting efforts including process and deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work with team members who are highly technical as well as those with little to no technical experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

About the internship:
Our summer internship program, known as Velocity, is a 16-week agency immersion designed to give participants real experience and a chance to demonstrate their talent as advertising professionals. The Velocity program is a full-time, paid experience available to college graduates (graduating on or before June 1, 2017.) The internship begins June 5, 2017 and ends September 22, 2017.

2017 Internship Positions:

Account Manager: We are looking for a stellar creative and strategic thinker who is open to considering all media spaces. You should also be someone who is able to communicate easily and clearly with a variety of different types of people, as you’ll be expected to interact with clients, as well as all departments within the agency.
Media: If striving for excellence and connecting with audiences in a unique and memorable way sounds like your thing, join MW as a media intern.
