The Media & PR Intern for the Minnesota Section PGA is responsible for assisting the Manager of Marketing & Communications with all Section and Foundation communications, marketing, and promotions. This position will also be responsible for supporting Section operated competitions and Foundation initiatives including website management, e-mail marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, photography, videography, graphic design, event press recaps, and live event coverage.
Intern must be able to work for long periods of time (up to 15 hours on rare occasions), overtime, and some nights and weekends. The Intern should have intermediate experience with Adobe Create Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign. General knowledge of DSLR cameras for photography and videography use. Must be able to finish assignments on tight deadlines. The position is based out of our office in Coon Rapids, MN, but travel may be required in some instances. Prior notice will be given in those cases. Must have reliable transportation. Knowledge of golf is a preferred, but not required.
This is a paid position, $12.00/hour, 40 hours a week, with opportunity for occasional overtime and mileage reimbursement.
