Landus Cooperative is seeking an intern to to aid the Marketing/Communications department in raising the profile of the company by showcasing the company’s products, services and people by implementing effective public relations and communication programs and events. In addition, this part-time internship will offer opportunities to enhance your portfolio, put classroom skills into action, and work with multiple business units in a quickly-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES include the following.
*Write content and do research for regular internal and external publications including the member magazine distributed to nearly 7,000 people, digital mediums including the agronomy e-newsletter, and social media. g Annual Meeting for Dec. 2017 including assisting with the ballot process.
*Aid in planning and executing Annual Meeting for Dec. 2017 including assisting with the ballot process.
*Assist in organizing and digitizing photos and news clips for historical preservation.
*Aid in implementation of internal digital newsletter(s).
*Assist business units with customer-facing communications needs.
*Assist in the improvement as well as coordination of brochures, collateral, video, event, displays, etc.
*Utilize excel to accurately create mail merge documents.
*Assist with updating and organization contact or Excel files and databases for internal customers’ marketing/communications projects.
*Shoot and edit photos and videos at events and in day-to-day activities for use in future publications.
*Assist in radio and print advertising writing and publication.
*Work as a communications & marketing team member in meeting needs of internal customers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year post-secondary program with an emphasis in communications, marketing, and/or journalism.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
