The Client Experience Internship is an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in a marketing agency environment. Hanley Wood Interns will be exposed to many aspects of our business and play a meaningful role in our operations.
Hanley Wood’s intern participants will gain important insights into the marketing world, and overall will enjoy a fun and worthwhile experience.
This position will offer 15-20 hours per week. Specific schedules are flexible within our core business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday).
The ideal candidate should be an energetic team player who wants to learn more about marketing and advertising. This individual should also have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Major Job Responsibilities and Related Duties:
- Support Account Director/Account VP on client work, including taking notes and writing conference reports in calls or meetings, reviewing and proofing copy/layouts for accuracy, helping route, responding to requests, etc.
- Specific projects may include the annual report and M360.
- Support initiative to promote agency via marketing and PR efforts, including social media posts.
- Learning about other areas of the agency.
- Pitching in on some administrative tasks.
