USA Today Collegiate Correspondent Program

USA TODAY College is looking for creative, innovative students with a passion for journalism to apply for the Collegiate Correspondent Program. This program is open for undergraduate students who have a strong understanding of what the USA TODAY College audience wants and who will shape the future of the media industry.

Collegiate Correspondents will work remotely from their respective campuses to research, pitch, report and produce one story per week for a period of 16 weeks. Their work will appear on USA TODAY and across Gannett’s network of 93+ media organizations.

The summer 2016 Collegiate Correspondent Program application is open until April 10. The application includes a resume, cover letter, two writing samples and a multimedia sample. The application can be accessed here.

The second round of the application process involves producing an original story in 72 hours. If selected, the applicant will then be interviewed by the USA TODAY College team.

If you have any questions about the program or the application process, they can be addressed to Roberta Bernstein, Editorial Director of USA TODAY College at
