Collegiately Creative is a one-day conference on April 16, 2016, to inspire, create and motivate college students to accomplish their dreams and be the best versions of them. The conference will allow students to broaden their professional network, while strengthening their marketing, leadership, entrepreneurial and social skills.
ISU Event Management Club would like to formally invite SJMC students and faculty to Collegiately Creative. The conference will be from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in LeBaron & MacKay Hall at Iowa State University. Individual tickets cost $25 and includes a light breakfast, lunch, an awesome swag bag and (2)-45 minute mentor sessions. After registering online, attendees will receive an email shortly after to choose their mentors. Each mentor session will have less than 25 attendees to a speaker. Attendees will choose two mentors out of the six keynote and breakout session speakers. Mentor sessions will allow time for attendees to network, ask questions and seek advice in an intimate setting with speakers.
Speakers include: Danny O’Neill the President of The Roasterie, Mike Draper the Founder of Raygun, Adam Benton the creator of The Acts of Goods Journal, With Grace and Gold a creative studio focused on professional branding, Melissa Jones from the Chief Encouragement Office, LLC as well as YouTube personnel and Social Media Strategist Sunny Lenarduzzi. Along with the above speakers, there will be an Event Panel with event professionals from the Des Moines area, mediated by in AESHM faculty member.
