The employee communications manager is responsible for executing key programs that support overall employee engagement. This role manages DuPont Pioneer strategy communications, global employee town halls, leadership team meetings, and global manager meetings. This role is also responsible for the design and implementation of an internal communications research program that measures the effectiveness of employee communications as well as identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to the overall function of employee communications.
Develop and implement a multi-faceted DuPont Pioneer Strategy communications program to help ensure alignment of employee understanding and line of sight with the strategy. Help leaders to become more skilled at communicating about strategy in their day-to-day interactions with employees.
Lead planning and manage execution of global group meetings that cut across the enterprise, for example: all-employee meetings, all managers’ meetings, leadership meetings, and provide guidance/support for regional town halls, as needed.
Provide writing and presentation support to the Pioneer president or other leaders as assigned for employee letters and other communications.
Lead robust communication research program, both formal and informal, to guide planning, measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of global programs, and, as needed, individual tactics (e.g. feedback following meetings). Develop research-based communication plans. Share research results as appropriate and develop recommendations based on results.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in communication or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of communication experience required. Experience with employee communications, agency, or corporate communications essential. Prior project management experience required. Knowledge or experience in a science-related field preferred (or the aptitude to learn and apply this knowledge).
