This position is responsible for member service efforts for trade and professional associations in Des Moines, IA.
Coordinate numerous large and small meetings, trade shows and various association membership activities including database management and development. Assist in writing trade newsletters and magazines.
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field. Experience in developing written communication/marketing pieces a plus.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent people skills and the ability to interact well with external and internal clients.
Ability to organize work activity with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and database management. Website development experience beneficial.
This position may be full or part time depending on the applicant’s skill set. We can be very flexible with the work schedule and can probably work around the applicant’s preferred hours.
