The Quincy, Ill., Herald-Whig and Quincy Newspapers, Inc., are accepting applications for a paid internship program at the Herald-Whig.
Students may apply for internships as reporters, copy editors, page designers and multimedia journalists in news, sports and photography, as well as promotion, sales and interactive media. Interns will have the opportunity to receive real-life, hands-on training.
The Herald-Whig is always hiring interns, but the positions are limited and in demand. The company has hired interns from the University of Missouri, Northwestern, Southern Illinois University and Virginia Commonwealth.
