* PR Coordinator: Majority of time on phone calling media outlets to secure placements for brands to publicize store openings, events, products, etc. Other time spent calling client contacts to gather pitch information as well as writing press releases. Coordinator may participate in client calls/visits and travel may be required. Position is expected to generate a significant number of interviews/placements per month that comes from building a book of media contacts. Key employee characteristics include outgoing/extrovert personality, persistence, patience, consistency and ability to work on concurrent projects and clients. Must be able to accept rejection and work in a stressful/high-pressure/results-driven environment. Desired Skills & Experience
* PR Coordinator: Excellent oral and written communication; MS Office (particularly Word and Excel); Cision is a plus but not required. Background must include at a minimum a four-year college degree relevant to the position with at least a 3.0 GPA.
* SM Coordinator: Must have excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, FourSquare, Pinterest, etc. Graphic design/programming experience a plus. Background must include at a minimum a four-year college degree relevant to the position with at least a 3.0 GPA.
* Interns: Must have excellent oral, written and computer skills. Background must include enrollment at a college or university in a degree relevant to the work of the company and at least at 3.0 GPA.
